Originally designed as a +/- 400,000 SF logistics facility for a long-time customer, Childress Klein expanded and completely retrofitted this building for Amazon in 2018 to meet their demand and ever expanding needs.
Totaling more than 500,000 square feet, this fulfillment center includes modern day technology, a massive warehouse space, and 14 acres of paved trailer parking and loading surfaces.
This project presented a number of challenges, including running parallel paths of design and construction in order to accommodate a fast-track occupancy schedule while nearly every aspect of the building was reconstructed.

- Highly visible location fronting I-85
- Signalized exit to Kannapolis Parkway
- Lighted streets and parking lots
This project was expanded in 2018 to include an additional 105,300 SF to the original 397,800 SF building. Childress Klein currently owns and provides property management services for this property.
