Since 2008, Childress Klein and Beacon Partners have been hosting the renowned Six-on-Six Volleyball Classic, bringing together Charlotte’s commercial real estate community for some friendly competition and networking, while also doing good for the community!

In this pool-style tournament, forty teams, each consisting of 6 to 8 players, participate in a minimum of three matches. The event culminates in a check presentation to the beneficiary of the year, followed by an awards ceremony, honoring the tournament champion, runner-up, Best Dressed, and Spirit Award recipients. The Charlotte commercial real estate community, since the event's inception, has rallied to raise over $1,750,000 for more than nine charities. These include Right Moves For Youth (2008-2009), Crisis Assistance Ministries (2010-2011), A Child's Place (2012-2013), Pat's Place (2014-2015), Charlotte Family Housing (2016-2017), Freedom School Partners (2018-2019), The Roc (2022-2023) Urban Promise (2024-2025) and the Relatives (2026).
