Childress Klein has always been devoted to giving back to the community and encouraging individuals to lead a healthy lifestyle. In efforts to inspire this habit of health, Childress Klein donated a generous gift of $1 million from 2007-2013 to the YMCA. Alongside these donations, Childress Klein frequently encourages employees to participate in various events and fundraisers to support the YMCA, and sustain their own individual healthy behaviors. These donations and fundraisers supporting the YMCA have sanctioned the opportunity to reach more people, as well as modernize its 6,300 SF. 

Having the YMCA inside of the buildings has allowed employees to enjoy an on-site fitness facility that is convenient, inviting, and has low cost memberships. This close quartered accessibility has allowed us bring together like-minded employees with similar goals, and reinforce our overall sense of community.
