Childress Klein is once again participating in Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte’s “Multifamily Developers Build,” in which 13 local multifamily firms work together to build a Habitat house for a local family. Childress Klein had more than 22 volunteers on the May 4th build who worked on framing, insulation and window installation.

The firms raised $71,000 in funds toward the house, which will be located off Moores Chapel Road, and expect to complete the project by the end of May. A typical Habitat home requires 13 days of volunteer labor with tasks including framing, installing roof trusses, shingling, installing drywall, doing trim work and painting.
